Is The Lily Jade Madeline Diaper Bag Worth $340?

ICYDK I’m obsessed with diaper bags.. you think I’m joking? Oh ok. Well Lincoln is 15 months old and I’ve owned six. So nope, not joking 😉 The Lily Jade bag is by far the most expensive one out of the six so I’m here to give you my honest opinion and let you know if I think it’s really worth the $340 USD price tag.

Lily Jade currently sells five different style bags, all of which are extremely stylish and quite honestly look more like a purse than a diaper bag. I own the Madeline (which is their most popular bag) in black. The Madeline can be worn three ways: over the shoulder, messenger style or as a backpack.

The quality of this bag is great. It’s made from full grain leather and has a red lining (also comes in jade) which I’m personally not a fan of because #monochromelife. It comes with an interior organizer (and changing pad) which I love because #alwaysloosingshitandneedtobemoreorganized.

The Madeline bag has 4 large and 1 small exterior pocket, 3 interior pockets (1 with a zipper + 2 without) and the removable interior organizer has 12 pockets. So basically what I’m trying to say is there is a crap load of storage and you should have zero excuses for having an unorganized diaper bag (unless your kid is like mine and empties your bag daily b/c apparently that’s a lot more fun than every single toy he owns) ugh ha.

So the real question, do I think the diaper bag is worth $340?! I’m going to cheat and say yes + no. As long as you’re not someone who’s constantly changing your style than I’d say yes, this bag is worth it. If you’re the kinda person who “needs” a new bag for every child or gets bored easily than no. The Lily Bag’s are gorgeous and great quality but that being said they are an investment piece and if you’re going to fork out $340 you better make sure you plan on keeping this baby for along time 😉
