Car seats are expensive so it’s important that it doesn’t expire before you can use it with all of your kids. It’s also great for resale once you’re all done with it. Of course safety is the most important factor, and this seat has a 4.6 rating. I love that it can face backwards up until 45 pounds. Backwards is the absolute safest position in the event of a car crash. Many parents have to switch to forward facing because their child reaches the common 35 pound limit. With this seat you can wait much longer before switching.
